Apricot Cookies

1 c Brown sugar
1-1/2 c Flour
1-1/2 c Quick cooking oatmeal
¾ c Butter
1 t Baking powder

Mix as for pie crust. The mixture will be crumbly. Line a shallow greased pan on the bottom and sides with 2/3 of mixture. Spread apricot jam on this and then cover with rest of mixture.

Bake in slow oven (275˚) until brown—about 35 minutes. Cut into bars.
