Sugar Mixture

1 cup butter
½ cup confectioners’ sugar
1 tsp. vanilla

Mix thoroughly.

Dry Ingredients

2-¼ cups flour
¼ tsp. salt
¾ cup finely chopped nuts

Stir flour and salt together. Blend into sugar mixture. Mix in nuts. Chill dough.

Roll dough in 1” balls. Place on ungreased cookie sheets. Bake at 400˚ for 10-12 minutes.

While still warm, roll dough in confectioners’ sugar. Cool. Roll in sugar again.
