Combine and beat well:
2-1/2 tsp Melted butter
1 c Sugar or brown sugar, closely packed
2 Egg yolks
2-1/2 c Rolled oats
2 tsp Tartrate or phosphate baking powder or 1-1/2 tsp combination bype
1 tsp Vanilla
Whip until stiff:
2 Egg whites
1/8 tsp Salt
Fold them into the other ingredients. Drop the batter from a teaspoon 3” apart on a lightly greased baking tin. Bake the cookies in a moderate oven (375˚) for about 10 minutes.
