1-1/2 c Flour
¾ c Brown sugar
½ c Soft butter
¼ t Salt
Mix until crumbly; press in cake pan and bake in 375˚ oven 10 minutes. Meanwhile, melt 1 c butterscotch morsels, ½ c corn syrup, 2 tbls shortening, 1 tbl water, ¼ tsp salt, all together over hot water until smooth. Remove from water and blend in 1 c chopped nuts. Spread over baked layer and return to oven for 8 minutes. Cut into bars while hot.
