Rhubarb Crisp

4 cups Cut-up fresh rhubarb
1/2 tsp Salt
1-1/2 to 2 c Sugar (option–brown sugar)
1/2 c Flour (white whole wheat)
1/2 c Oats
1 tsp Cinnamon
3/4 tsp Nutmeg
Chai spices (optional)
1/3 c Butter, softened

Heat oven to 350˚.  Place rhubarb in uncreased baking dish, 8x8x2.  Sprinkle with salt.  Measure sugar, flour, oats, spices into bowl and mix. Add butter and mix thoroughly util mixture is crumbly.  Sprinkle evenly over rhubarb.  Bake 40-50 minutes or until topping is golden brown.
