In double boiler over hot (not boiling) water, combine one 6 oz package butterscotch chips and ½ cup peanut butter. While butterscotch melts, stir mixture to blend. Quickly stir in 2 c crunchy chow mein noodles. Drop by shapely teaspoon mounds on waxed paper; push red or green candied cherries into the tops. Let them “set” in refrigerator, then store in a very cool spot.
