Magic Velvet Fudge

3 (6-oz) pkgs Chocolate chips
1-2/3 c Sweetened condensed milk (1 14-oz can)
2 tsp Vanilla
½ c Powdered sugar
Pinch Salt
½ c Chopped walnuts
(I omit this)

In 1-1/2 qt glass casserole, microwave (high) chips 2 minutes, rotating ¼ turn halfway through cooking. Stir until smooth. Blend in milk, powdered sugar, and salt. Add nuts, blending well. Pour into 12×8” dish lined with wax paper. Chill until firm.

Makes 1-1/2#

May add miniature marshmallows for a rocky road candy.

Santa used to like this every Christmas Eve.
