Marinated Cucumber Salad

1 medium Cucumber
1 small Onion
½ c Vinegar
½ c Water
2 Tbls Sugar
¼ tsp Salt

Run tines of fork lengthwise down side of unpared cucumber. Thinly slice cucumber and onion into glass bowl. Mix vinegar, water, sugar, and salt; pour on cucumber and onion slices. Cover and refrigerate at least 2 hours. (can be served immediately.)

Drain vegetables; serve on crisp salad greens.
