2 small Onions, chopped
3 Tbls Shortening
1# Hamburger
½ c Uncooked rice
1 tsp Chili powder
¼ tsp Pepper
1 tsp Salt
2 c Tomato juice
Fry onion slowly in shortening until brown. Add meat and brown. Add tomato juice, rice, and seasonings. Put in covered baking dish in 325˚ oven for 1 hour and 15 minutes. Stir occasionally.
