International Chicken

6 Large chicken breasts
¼ c Margarine
1 (12 oz) can Chicken broth
1 Tbl Instant minced onion
1 tsp Salt
½ tsp Curry powder
1/8 tsp Pepper
1 tsp Lemon juice
1 (11 oz) can Mandarin oranges
1 tsp Cornstarch
1 c Thinly sliced green pepper
1 c Fresh dates, sliced

Brown chicken in margarine. Combine broth, onion, salt, curry powder, and pepper; pour over chicken, cover and simmer 45 minutes. Remove chicken to heated serving platter.

Combine lemon juice, syrup drained from oranges, cornstarch. Stir into juices in pan. Cook, stirring constantly until thick and clear. Add green pepper and dates. Simmer 3 or 4 minutes. Stir in oranges. Serve hot over chicken.
