¼ c Butter
1# Ground beef
1 pkg (7 oz) Elbow macaroni
1 medium Onion, chopped
1 clove Garlic, minced
½ c Green Pepper, chopped
1 tsp Salt
1-1/2 tsp Seasoned salt
¼ tsp Pepper
1 tsp Oregano
2 c Water
1 Tbl Flour
1 can (1-2/3c) Evaporated milk
2 Tbls Pimento, chopped
1/3 c Parmesan cheese, grated
Melt butter at simmer in electric fry pan. Add ground beef, uncooked macaroni, onion, garlic, pepper, and oregano. Increase temperature to 360˚ and cook, stirring occasionally, until meat is browned and onion transparent. Stir in water and salt; bring mixture to boil. Cover and reduce heat to 212˚ and simmer for 20 minutes.
Sprinkle flour evenly over top of mixture and blend smoothly. Stir in milk, pimento, and cheese. Cook 5 minutes at simmer, stirring occasionally.
